Dear Aladdin Customer: The Aladdin kerosene mantle lamp was invented in 1908 by Mr. Victor S. Johnson. Over the last 90 years the Aladdin has been improved many times. Today, the Model 23A Aladdin burner is regarded as near perfection as would seem possible.

An Aladdin lamp is simplicity itself in operation. It is lighted and operated much like the old-fashioned wick lamp. Children learn quickly to run the Aladdin.

The Aladdin mantle burner produces 60 full candlepower of dependable, modem, white light. Aladdin light is equal to ten ordinary flat wick lamps, and will operate more than 50 hours on a gallon of kerosene. The light is soft and mellow, and of such a quality as is best suited for the human eye.
